I feel safe at Semita to be myself and learn. Before, I was less focused in school, but now I feel more focused and motivated doing my work. The instruction at Semita is clearer than the other school I went to because of the attention I get from  the teachers. The teachers and staff are all very friendly and helpful. I really feel like they care about me and my education. I am learning more, and I have more confidence in myself.

I am in the 11th grade at Whitney High School and has a high GPA and SAT score. Since I am planning on applying to top tier universities, I wanted a way to showcase my strengths. That's why I did a Capstone Project at Semita School. After completing the project, I submitted it to MIT Inspire, a national high school research competition, and was selected as one of the finalists. Thank you, Semita!
